What I love — A rarely seen model, quoted by Ebel brochures to have been ‘on request’ only, is this gorgeous Perpetual Calendar Chronograph powered by the El Primero caliber + in-house perpetual module. Packing a serious punch for the price tag, the white gold variant is hard to come by and I’m delighted to have one for sale.
The dial features two different finishes, light texture for the main part and concentric circles for the sub dials. The color is hard to explain and capture in camera but it’s a silverly light grey to my eye. The non lume dial is complimented but the original non lume handset with the chronograph and perpetual calendar functions working perfectly.
Case shows very little wear and retains the original finish, the engravings/hallmarks on the case back are crisp and deep. The original white gold deployant clasp is present, fitted to an original Ebel strap. Overall a rare example from an interesting period of Ebel, a mega movement and value offering compared to similar complications/metals from other brands.
