1991 Piaget Gouverneur 15958 Triple Calendar Moonphase with Papers
One of our favourite discoveries of 2021 is this gorgeous Piaget Triple Calendar with a charming Moonphase at 6 o’clock.
The case is in great condition with the lugs retaining original shape and character with the semi-raised sections. The case-back features a deep hallmark and the numbering and references are clearly visible.
The dial is the standout feature of this watch featuring a glorious lacquer finish with contrasting sub-dials. Out in the sun the contrast between the textures can be extremely pronounced creating a very eye-catching piece indeed! That together with deep and vibrant Moonphase creates a dial to be remembered. There is some very light spotting on the 6 o’clock subdial, barely noticeable to the eye but can be seen in the macro photos.
The case is fitted with a new strap from the team over at ‘A Collected Man’ and houses the original Piaget yellow gold pin buckle.
Accompanying the watch is the original guarantee card from 1991, a leather Piaget wallet with booklet, a leather watch carry case and a Piaget card box.
